Vesna Parun (1922–2010) jedna je od najvažnijih i najprepoznatljivijih hrvatskih pjesnikinja XX. stoljeća. Njezin opsežan pjesnički opus obilježen je emotivnom iskrenošću, bujnom imaginacijom, jezičnom elegancijom i stalnom tenzijom između osobnog iskustva i univerzalnih tema.
