V5.3 has been superseded by STARTER V5.4, V5.5 , and now SINAMICS Startdrive (integrated into TIA Portal). Siemens may have moved older versions to the "Archive" section.

After installing STARTER V5.3, you must configure the communication path between your computer and the drive.
