Use a high-quality micro-USB cable to connect your Pixhawk 2.4.8 to your computer. Do not connect your drone's battery during this process; the USB will provide enough power to flash the board.

The original Pixhawk 1 (FMUv2) has only 2MB of flash. Newer firmware (ArduCopter 4.4+) often exceeds this limit or requires stripping features. (e.g., 3.6.11) fits perfectly, leaving room for parameters and logs. This public link is valid for 7 days

The "248" firmware was the last "golden master" for the original 2MB flash-limited Pixhawk series before ArduPilot moved to the more resource-intensive ChibiOS operating system. Can’t copy the link right now
