What are you currently using (e.g., Photoshop 2024, 2026, or an older CS version)?

If you see no signature or an unknown publisher, the download is – delete it immediately.

Navigate to your Photoshop installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop [Version]\Locales on Windows or /Applications/Adobe Photoshop [Version]/Locales on Mac).

Click the next to the Open/Update button and click Uninstall . (Note: This will not delete your custom brushes, actions, or preferences). Once uninstalled, click Install .

Changing the preference does not automatically translate your currently installed app. You must trigger a secondary installation to download the verified language files. Navigate back to the section in Creative Cloud. Find Adobe Photoshop in your list of installed apps. Click the three dots (...) next to the Open/Update button. Click Install .

: Unofficial packs often fail to translate new features or can cause the software to crash during startup.
