Establishing communication between the PC running UDX75 and the CSx75 control panel requires specific hardware, depending on the panel model.
It is highly recommended to temporarily disable active virus scanners during the deployment phase to prevent essential system dynamic-link libraries (.DLL files) from being misidentified or quarantined.
Factory firmware (shipped with new UDX75 units) is locked and cannot be changed via the bus. The version is a field-upgradeable bootloader-enabled firmware. Once you flash a UPD version, you can perform future updates without opening the keypad again (via RS232 or even via the panel bus in some newer revisions).
Follow the on-screen prompts and select the default destination folder, usually \Program Files\UDX75 .
